Facial Veins

Facial veins most commonly appear on the cheeks, chin, nose, forehead, eyelds, and neck. People often seek treatment for facial veins because, unlike spider veins and varicose veins on the body, facial spider veins are not easily concealed. Facial veins are simply dilated blood vessels that live close to the surface of the skin and can vary in size, shape and color. While make-up can help diminish the appearance of facial spider veins, the daily application can be cumbersome and the reddish or purplish hue is often still noticeable.

A typical treatment for facial veins is with Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). Please contact us for more information for treatment options for facial veins.
